гос. упр., амер. преемственность президентской власти (порядок перехода полномочий и обязанностей президента страны в случае его смерти, импичмента или отставки; согласно конституции США и Закону 1947 г. о преемственности президентского поста, полномочия и обязанности переходят в первую очередь к вице-президенту; далее к спикеру Палаты представителей; исполняющему обязанности председателя Сената; государственному секретарю; министру финансов; министру обороны; министру юстиции и т. д. в порядке исторической хронологии образования соответствующих министерств)
